Pre-Installation Site Requirements

Before installing a VPSA Oxygen Generator, ensure the site meets these critical requirements:

  • Structural Requirements: Flat, solid surface with floor bearing capacity of 5kN/m² (small units) to 15kN/m² (large systems). Foundation must use C30 concrete with steel plates (≥12mm thickness) for equipment fixation.
  • Environmental Conditions: Well-ventilated area (≥3 air changes/hour) with relative humidity ≤85%. Avoid dust sources or install appropriate filtration.
  • Space Requirements: Minimum 1.5m clearance from walls/obstacles for maintenance access.
Installation Process

The installation involves three key stages:

  • Equipment Positioning: Level adjustment (≤0.5mm/m deviation) and secure anchoring of blower/vacuum pump.
  • Pipeline Connection: Use corrosion-resistant stainless steel pipes (304/316L) with 1‰-3‰ slope. PTFE gaskets for airtight seals followed by pressure testing (1.2× working pressure for 30 minutes).
  • Electrical Installation: 380V/50Hz three-phase supply with dedicated circuit (≤30mA leakage protection). Grounding resistance ≤4Ω. PLC system integration via Modbus protocol if required.
Maintenance Guidelines

Daily: Monitor pressure (0.1-0.3MPa) and flow (±5% of rated value). Clean air pre-filter.

Weekly: Inspect seals for leaks (soapy water test). Check blower/vacuum pump oil levels.

Monthly: Calibrate oxygen purity sensor. Test pressure relief valve functionality.

Troubleshooting: For purity below 90%, check filter and molecular sieve condition. Excessive vibration may indicate loose bolts or bearing wear. Molecular sieve replacement typically required every 5-8 years depending on usage intensity.
